Four men were arrested in connection with bank robberies occurred in Laval and Longueuil, announced Friday the Laval Police Department.
Three of the suspects were intercepted Thursday as they prepared to commit robbery in a bank of Laval. One of the individuals was stopped at the door of the bank and was in possession of an imitation firearm, police said. At the same time, they arrested another suspect who kept watch and a man who was waiting in the getaway car parked nearby.
Another suspect was arrested in the evening in Laval.
According to Laval police, these four individuals allegedly linked to a robbery occurred on Dagenais Boulevard in July 2015 and two robberies in Longueuil.
Omar Gonzales Garcia, 20, Degrandmaison Alexander, 22, Michael Brunelle, 20, and Nicolas Pineros Torres, 24, appeared Friday on several counts of robbery, weapons possession and conspiracy.
